Dear Friends,

As you may know in February, 2011 the Auburn Family learned that the 134 year old Oak trees at Toomer’s Corner in Auburn, AL were poisoned by a person who identified with another university. Since that time Auburn University has done everything in its power to save the trees from this ruthless act.

After reading the official University updates located at www.auburn.edu/oaks and surveying Toomer’s Corner ourselves, we have determined it best to discontinue the Web Cam at this time. It is certainly with a heavy heart we have come to this conclusion but we simply do not want to showcase this tragic event.

We have enjoyed providing this service to the Auburn Family for the past 12 years and thank each and every one of you for visiting our site. Please direct any comments to webcam@toomerscornerlive.com.
